Cuba International - Dance Casino
France: Created in 2006, the French institute of afro-cuban arts in Paris (ISAAC) is dedicated to cuban music and teaching of afro-cuban dances. International: Cubanisimo has been working very hard to promote... Cubanismo... one great project is the cooperative exchange of non-commercial DVDs promoting Cuban Music and Dance... check it out! Some people don't know that a DVD can be created and authored just like a CD, by anyone with a decent personal computer. If you have good video to share, look into this! Framce: Fiesta Cubana is an excellent site overdue for mention, relevant articles, events, interviews, videos... USA: In North Carolina, the Raleigh/Triangle area... a hotspot for cuban style fans is Step by Step Salsa... check with Eduardito! Rumbanana was formed by Mike and Simona in January 2000 to promote Cuban Salsa music and dance in the Northwest USA. The original group started in Eugene, but in 2005 Rumbanana has transitioned to Corvallis, Oregon USA. Speaking of Simona, she tells about SalsaSpaces ... it's pretty good and still mostly casineros. New York City ruedas are hosted by Karim Noack. Boston casino is hot... Linda R was a spark, and the fire rages over at Despelote Dance. In Washington DC (distrito casinero), saocó is the buzz: "a rythmically syncopated, sensual dance, to the beat of Cuban son and timba", and headquarters is saoco dc. In California, the Bay area, check in with Salsa Rueda.
When you are in Amsterdam... Salsa Caliente is a Cuban dance school with Salsa Cubana and Rueda lessons. Visitors to Amsterdam can drop by to have some fun and dance in our studio!
Yet another hotbed of Casino style in Europe... in Luxembourg we can go to Ahinama.
Glasgow, Scotland has 2 schools advocating Cuban Style... Academia de Salsa and Ashanti Dance Company, this town is out of control... In Uppsala, Sweden, CuBaile is the secret to bring Cuba into your life. Los cubanos will take lessons from los suecos, soon enough.
In France, down in the Pyrenees, you find Toulousse. Here the guide for todo en estilo cubano is Soy Salsero.
Natal is on the NE cusp of Brazil... and home of Salsa Bar, "the most traditional Salsa Bar of Ponta Negra"... hmm... nice, someday I'd like to see it! In Istanbul, the you can learn the real cuban casino with teacher Oguz Kurtili, email.
If you are in Lima Peru, see the home of Salsa y Timba, lively discussion among a lot of fans there. Looking for the real "cintura, cintura, cintura" in London England, you must see Salsa Tumbao! Indonesian fans of Cuban Casino, check out Salseros Indonesia. Casineros in Japan can take advantage of Tsuyoshi's Cuban Salsa School Casino Style.
In Switzerland, Juerg "bigs up" the cuban side to the Salsa crowd "salsa p'alante". Casino de Cuba lessons, Biel - Bern - Basel - Z?ich - near you! Very cool pictures, http://www.bailarcasino.ch. An Italian cuba fan wants us to know about Albertico Calderon, teaching wonderful rumba classes, with great excursions to Havana. Hmmm, some familiar names in those pictures too... And don't miss the Croatian Summer Salsa Festival.
